Persialive!

Our ancestors from Persia came up with a meal that will nourish the Empress Mumtaz's army from battle. A rice that is scented with kewra, and then tossed in meat, perfectly whipped up with spices, cooked over wood fire in earthen pots to make it more aromatically delightful. And voila! Even the empress loved it and said “Kheyli khosh mazas!”, in English— it is delicious! They called this birinj meal— the BIRYANI.
